  My son's dish was delicious, beef tacos, and an enchiladas plate. I had a steak, rice, cheese, with sour cream burrito. My burrito had tendons, non chewable beef parts...eww after the third bite. My son offered to finish it later. The salsa was too spicy for our taste.
  If we are in town again, I'll try what my son had instead.
  I did have to flag servers down for refills.
  
  We had stopped here after visiting Preston Castle.

  We stopped at Don Luis for lunch on our way back from Lake Tahoe and it was a great experience. Food and service is top notch. This is one of the best tasting Mexican food I've had in a long time and our servers were awesome too. On a side note, they have the best and cleanest restrooms too. This place is about 2 hr from my home but I'll not hesitate to come back just for food.

  Very nice restaurant in the old part of Ione. Excellent food. Reasonable prices. Great staff. I enjoyed my time there.

  We usually grab take out. Foods really good but we've gotten a random dish rather than what was ordered on 2 different occasions now. It was fixed both times but like... What?
