My wife and I have been trying to drop by here but we e always come at a bad time. Today we finally got to try the food and I can assure you that this is one of the best local spots to hit up. We came in and were treated like family. Beers came immediately And the food came as a surprise because the moment you start thinking about how long it takes to get your food, the chef is placing the baskets of wonderfulness in front of you. I was done with my first beer and started on the second pint when our food arrived. My God!!!! Cleanest fried goodies and fantastic burger. The pictures don't do justice. It's all about flavor. You taste the jalapeno poppers and not the oils. The fries are on spot! Dang you have to have the pulled pork fries. Soooo damn good. Well take a look at the pictures and see you here in Ione.”

“Fowler's Roofing removed two layers of elderly and failing shingles, added insulation above our pine tongue and groove, and above that, an airspace to disperse the summer heat. New shingles completed a roof that has totally changed the inside temperatures of our cabin. The difference is HUGE: much cooler in the summer and without a doubt, we will be warmer in the winter. The job took about three days, and they carted all the mess away with them afterwards. Highly recommended.”

“I have loved going to this lake for many years. It is definitely a great place to go if you are looking to relax, fish, and enjoy the outdoors. We took our 3yr old fishing for the first time today and while we didn't catch anything we all had a great time. Just a heads up you can not swim in the lake. Other then that it is perfect”

Don't be put off by the drive out of town, it's gorgeous out there - totally worth it. It's a little pricey, but not more than you would expect for a small operation. Really personal service. “I took my mare to Dr. Marty for lameness that my local vet had been treating for 6 to 8 weeks without any improvement. Dr. Marty and the staff were right on time for the appointment. They were very knowledgeable, friendly and thorough. Once the exam, ultrasound and x-rays were completed, Dr. Marty gave me a very complete diagnosis. He explained everything clearly and answered all my questions. I never felt rushed during the appointment and when I did leave, I had a very clear understanding of what was wrong and how to address it. The drive up to Dr. Marty was definitely worth it (3 hours for me)! I do highly recommend him and I will certainly go to him in the future should the need arise. Thank you Dr. Marty and staff!”

“We had a family style dinner at 14.50 started with appetizers then we had soup which was a flower and one was a hot and sour awesome soup! Then they brought dinner which consisted of beef with bell peppers pork chow mein fried rice was very very well worth the price that we paid for it and we will be going back all the way from Pine Grove to Ione best food around thank you so much for being there for us we went on mother's Day they were super busy but everything was fresh and made to order and that really matters to me”
