“A Welcoming Haven During a Crisis During a recent evacuation due to a fire, we were overwhelmed and struggling to find a place to stay. Thankfully, we found this wonderful hotel. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us warmly and ensured we had everything we needed. They even offered further assistance if necessary, making us feel truly cared for. The rates were approximately $50 less than other places we considered, and they did not charge for our small dog, whereas another place wanted $35 a day. They also accommodated our request for a ground floor room with easy access, which was incredibly helpful. The amenities were excellent, including a refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, alarm clock, landline, and air-conditioned room. The room itself was quiet and clean, providing a much-needed respite from the chaos outside. Special mention to the housekeeper, Loretta, who checked on us every time we saw her, ensuring our stay was comfortable. Overall, this hotel is a great small-town nugget, centrally located for all your gold country adventures. Highly recommended!”

“I came in without an appointment on Saturday, due to dizziness and experiencing vertigo. They were very caring and were able to see me within just a few minutes. After seeing the doctor, and thinking I had something in my ear, I was diagnosed with Vertigo. Dr. Laura Keller performed and showed me an exercise to do at home for the next several days. After she performed these exercises I felt much better. She spent a lot of time explaining the causes, cures, and future issues I should be aware of. I felt very cared for. They were all very professional, and accommodating. This is not my first visit to James Dalton Medical Center. Living in our rural area, I feel secure and confident I can get the care needed having this facility and their staff close by. Thank you all for your compassion, understanding and treatment. What a great product. The blades are still so sharp that the buds look dispensary grade without getting crushed. I actually threw away the old dome trimmer this week. Also when done I have a 1/3 bucket of trim to make oils or edibles.”

“We loved the vintage vibe of this motel. The bed was comfortable, the location was great and right of the main road through town. Some reviews complain about the noise from the road but we ran our air conditioner all night and didn't hear the road at all. The motel managers we nice too. We'd stay here again.”
