The number one requirement you must have in order to work at the front desk is to be totally illiterate, unprofessional, depressed, and hard of hearing.
Other than trying to be checked in 30 times before they ACTUALLY check you in … the nurses are great . They are really the only ones that seem to care about you. And the counselors are a joke so if you are going to get sober you can not depend on this place for Sh— but your dose.
The nurses and staff are dedicated kind and nonjudgmental. They do a great service to the community in a thankless environment. They help many people to get out of addiction. We need this service in our community despite the negativity. At least there is harm reduction and hope for people with BAART programs.
The BAART Clinic in Antioch has honestly been a life saver to me. It's not just the program it's the people who work at this location. Never have they made me feel judged or unheard. From the doctor to the front desk and most of all the nurses that I see and light up my mood daily! Shout out Tina!!! She is full of positivity, makes me laugh everytime I see her awesome self! And all though I don't know everyone's name, I can say every person I met who works there is good people in my book. If you struggle with opiate addiction give BAART a chance.
the nurses here are awesome, some of the counselors as well. The secretaries are also super friendly !! This place has greatly impacted my recovery in a positive way!
I’m so happy I started my journey back on the right path by choosing to enroll at the BAART clinic. My counselor, Consuelo Jackson, is especially helpful during my counseling sessions. If she wasn’t my counselor I’m sure I probably would not have made it as far as I’ve come on my journey back to sobriety. I’m truly blessed and grateful to have such a caring counselor like her to help me along the way.
