WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE

We had our brothers service at Higgins Chapel and Mila Valdivia was our coordinator. She was very helpful along with the other staff members. They were very comforting and made sure that our 2 day service went smoothly. Mila and Vicente drove our brother to Oak View and explained the process to us. Allowed our family to have a prayer service. Even the gentleman who guided us inside to witness the final step was very thorough in explaining the steps and offered words of encouragement. They all made this arrangement smoother for me and my family and I am grateful to them for all they did. Mila was my last contact when I went to pick up my brother and still she was comforting me with her words and her presence. Thank you.

My mother had cancer and I could see her transition coming, I was scare and needed help. I called Higgins only to obtain information just so I could be prepared. The gentleman did a zoom meeting with me and explained what would be needed and gave estimates. He was patient, kind and very understanding. My mom died about two days later at home and the body was released to me by the coroner. I didn’t know what to do so I called the gentleman I did the zoom call with and he helped me through it. Higgins picked up my mom family walked through the door and they paused and let them view the body. I was in need and Higgins was therefore me. The support Higgins gave me was exceptional and they even contacted me just to ask how I was doing emotionally. In times like these you need diligence, warmth, comfort, professionalism, understanding and a listening ear and I found that with Higgins Chapel.

So blessed to have had my fathers service here. These moments are never easy and not something you look forward too. However they took all The stress away , they made everything so easy and re assured us in everything and anything we had doubt in . My father was treated with so much delicacy and love . Thank you to all of your staff from the young men that picked my father up at the hospital, to Suzanna and everyone God bless you guys .

My mother passed away and I was really out of it. Gema was my main contact at Higgins. She and everyone else were amazing, patient and took care of everything. I was more than impressed with the process and how they set everything up, kept me up to date at every stage and were so patient and empathetic. They even have an option of streaming and recording the service which was great since a lot of my family and friends are out of state. My mother would have loved the service and they made everything easy.
