I have had acupuncture before but I prefer Dr. Elkayam's approach. He is very skilled in acupuncture and also Chinese medicine, he is very thorough, and has an excellent bedside manner.

Specifically, Dr. Elkayam has helped me with insomnia and digestion issues related to stress. I always experience results immediately and I feel calm and serene after having my treatment.

I have to admit I was little skeptical of acupuncture at first. I was having issues with persistent headaches and foot pain, and was not having success with traditional medicine. After my first visit with Dr. Elkayam, I felt very good about my choice to try acupuncture. We discussed my health concerns and his plan for treatment.

After only a few visits, I was able see real improvement. I went from about 2 headaches per month to none - writing this now more than a year since my first treatment, I can think of maybe one or 2 headaches since then. As for the foot pain, I was able to return to my running regime with much less discomfort as rediscovered the joys of running.

I am now an advocate of acupuncture and tell others about my experience when possible. Dr. Elkayam has made a great improvement in my life.
