I attended a volunteer appreciation event for John Muir Health volunteers. The venue was attractive. The chairs and tables were fine although I don't know if it was provided by the venue or it was rented from an outside provider. My party came a little late and it was hard to find a parking place.
Pleasant Hill Community center is a good venue for medium sized events. I believe there are three separate rooms, kitchen facilities, and outdoor park gazebo. I've been here on two occasions. Depending on your guest amount parking is decent. Police department is within 5 minutes walking distance so safety rates higher. Decorating might be difficult due to ceiling height, but definitely somewhere to consider for an event for maybe 200 people.
Came for a graduation ceremony at the Pleasant Hill community center in the park. Loved the scenery outside. With lots of parking, you don't have to worry about finding a place to park. Can only talk about the community center as that is where I went. It was neat and clean. The hall was large. Good for events. Some some housekeeping folk doing their job with a smile.
We attended a Chamber of Commerce Rally here last week and were very pleased with the event. They were organized, there was plenty of room and the hosting Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce we so welcoming as well as accommodating to all needs. They had a live band on the first night who did covers of Tom Petty and Stevie Nick's along with Blondie, all sounded amazing!
Great little park packed with miniature walking trails all around and the community center is right in the middle for events and other activities. If it interests you - GREAT location for the mobile game "Pokemon Go" with gyms and stops galore. Best time to go: In the evening for a quiet sunset stroll.
