My wife and I had breakfast here for the first time while heading up to Redhawk Casino. The owner (host) was friendly and informative. The waitress and busboy were awesome too! Very friendly atmosphere. Food was great! The owner recommended the biscuit and gravy that has her grandmother's gravy recipe, we were not let down. It was good! I watched the dishes going out and they all looked good. About the only downfall is the old decor, but that doesn't bother us. We love the old mom and pop diners. I would of probably gave it a 4.5 star because of that, but like I said, it didn't bother us. We'll definitely stop by again! Two breakfast, side biscuit and gravy, two coffees, $41.00
Excellent staff! Delicious food, great variety. Breakfast served all day. Liked egg scramble w/ sausage, biscuits & gravy, hash browns! Vintage atmosphere, 'old school', no frills, 'clean'. Awesome. Hospitality!
Good old fashion home cooking.
HUGE portions. Be ready to take home at least half of your meal.
Friendly staff. Fair market value pricing.
I have taken my staff there many times for Breakfast. Always accommodating.
French Toast, Omlettes, yummy in your tummy. You will not be disappointed.
Classic diner food, huge menu, and massive portion sizes! This place was bumpin’ on the day after Christmas. I wish I could give this place 4.5 stars. It’s everything you would expect from a small town diner. We got the breakfast burrito ($14) and oatmeal ($3.50). You get a lot of food for the money but it isn’t amazing food. Two people could get full from 1 breakfast burrito, easy. It’s got the charming home cooked vibe. Fast service. After your meal you take your check to the cashier. There were 2-3 people in line to pay so we decided to leave cash at the table. I’m not sure if they take credit cards or not.
Don’t for get to make stop here on your way past. Get here early as the place fills fast for the delicious food. Food is prepared in a timely manner that you know it’s piping hot and fresh. The staff is polite and the place is clean. The have a wide range of omelets and their pancakes look 👀 Amazing but they don’t carry real maple syrup. When I inquired they said it cost to much. It is a restaurant why lot charge? I’d pay and I know lot of others that prefer the real stuff. That was the only draw back. I will bring my own next time.
