Great beach on the West Shore of Tahoe. For $10 / car you get access to the beach, close in parking, bar and grill, and little store. The beach is broad, white sand and clean. Well worth the price of admission
We only visited for the day so didn't get to see rooms or anything but really enjoyed our time here at the beach! We found some suits and towels for the kids at the camp store so they could get in the water (we thought it was gonna be too cold so didn't come prepared) which made their day! The water was clear and not too cold, and the sandy beach was clean and not too over crowded!
This a lovely sand beach with crystal clear water. In august i guess the water was around 20 c degreea. At the left part of the beach there's are no stones in the water.
The parking lot is big and for 10 dollar you can park the entire day at some marked areas. You can also park for free but they fill up quicker. You don't have to come super early to get a space. But the Americans bring a lot of stuff to the beach so it can't be hard to get a place at the Waterfront of the beach. To have a look at all the stuff in it self is worth a visit if you are a foreign.
There is a small place you
Would definitely go to this beach.
Great place to hang out for the day. Water is very clear. There are restrooms and also a store nearby. If you're going for the day I suggest arriving early as this beach fills up pretty quickly. Parking for the day is $10.
We only visited for a day trip to the beach. It was fabulous. The Bay is naturally a sheltered inlet. The beach had nice sun and sand. Amenities included clean bathrooms, a sundry shop and a bar and grill. Day visitors pay to park. Picnic tables are available. We brought our own kayak and found it the perfect place for the kids first kayak outing.
Bring your own shade tent or beach umbrella, there is shade but not much.
