I came from a town where there were great dentists and mediocre dentists. Let's just say in an unfamiliar place where apparently you can go terribly wrong, I went extremely right with Dr Ruby and staff! Unfortunately that was after a bad choice with another place, but I won't mention that other than to say be careful and please take my advice and choose Dr Ruby! I have a PhD, constantly research the newest breakthroughs in anything, especially if it's medical, and I am one of those people that knows a little about a lot of things, but being a scientist who's up on all the cutting-edge techniques makes extremely hard to impress. That is further complicated with a neurological condition that increases the feeling of pain and refers it to odd places. That being said, Dr Ruby more than impressed me. He has incorporated all the new techniques into his practice but understands there is need for older modalities when necessary. He became the Sherlock Holmes of Dentistry when it came to finding out what was wrong with me. Maybe that analogy sounds far-fetched but you haven't met me, and while my complicated neurological system threw false negatives, and false positives all over the place, he was still able to find away to remain objective and get to the source of actual problem. I think that's why we got along so well, because even though I'm a younger guy (42) I understand that every now and then the phrase they just don't make them like they used to means something, because some of the new techniques don't last very long, and in a world where typically beauty wins out over brawn, brawn, brawn over beauty still has its place. In other words strength and durability has its place, like when you need a repair in a very hard to get to place where a new composite filling won't work, but it is not very visible. The fact that he understood and recommended what I asked about at another place where I was told couldn't be done made me feel very comfortable, because I knew it could be done. Not only did Dr Ruby do it, he did it well. His bedside manner an unwillingness to put me through any more pain were amazing! I also want to say that Dr Ruby came highly recommended by two doctors in the family, and you can't get a better recommendation than that in my opinion, because these are two excellent doctors, and I do have a fair and non biased opinion because they're my in-laws lol. I also want to mention it is very scary talking to someone who is representing the doctor because you never know who they are or how much they understand, but Brenda at Dr Ruby's office is amazing. I honestly think her bedside manner is what had me feeling better before I even got there, and it certainly told me that I was headed to the right place. Dr Ruby is the best! Do yourself a favor and choose him to ease your suffering, or for any procedure for that matter, then you only have to question the rest of the choices you make that week ;-).

Thank you Dr Ruby, Brenda, and his phenomenal assistant Loria, whom I should have already mentioned as well, thank you very much and I didn't forget you either!

    Charles W.
