United Health Centers - Reedley

My mom sees Dr Lao he is wonderful he is so patient and kind and explains everything in detail he's the best doctor she's ever had.

I've only visited the Vision Care center and the medical lab. This review reflects those two areas of this clinic only.

The Vision Care center at this location is great. I was quickly seen and my test was done promptly. There is a limited selection of frames available, so if you have a preference for more upscale, fashionable frames then you may want to request a written prescription and get your frames elsewhere after you've been given your exam.

The lab technician is friendly and competent. Very painless extraction of blood here. However this location can be quite busy in the morning and it is first come, first served. Please keep that in mind if you need blood work done while fasting. If your blood work can be done without fasting then I highly recommend showing up in the afternoon/early evening. The lab has almost no waiting time then.

I have been going here for about a year now and Dr Lao is the best he makes sure everything is going well and keeps me healthy. I went in with so much pain it was unbearable, he made sure we ruled out other illnesses and tested me for everything. I was ready to just give up because I couldn’t even get out of bed sometimes because of the severe pain. He created a plan and it worked. He is hands down the best Dr around. The staff are really nice and hardly no wait time.
Darlene whom works front office is very kind always helps me and always follows through on the call backs and appointment scheduling. I also lost my health insurance and she made sure I was aware of the sliding fee and took the initiative to help me apply. I feel very comfortable speaking to her and she always greets patients with a smile. UHC is very lucky to have her as an Admin Rep. 2 thumbs up.
