My first time trying this bbq place was really good tri-tip sandwich, mac & cheese, and birria taco was really good definitely will return back.👏🏼🫡 Also was recommended by Daniel from del monte foods 👌
Great customer service. super yummy food
Don't even think my photos do this justice. Heights catering aka Tony Lemus is amazing. I was absolutely thrilled when he said he was going to open back up for the summer. Has a few new menu items like the brisket {I would call them burnt ends🤤} and the chicken breasts. I really remember his food being super good. Tony, has upped his game. It's even better now. He has tweeked something and oh dear lord, his food was beyond amazing.
1. Tri tip. This is not a cut of meat I even like, but his is really good.
2. Chicken breasts. Very flavorful. Moist, tender and surprised me in how good he could make a silly ole chicken breasts taste.
3. BBQ pork ribs. Everything a rib should be. Tender, fall off the bone, so flavorful and that's without adding any BBQ sauce. Delectable 😋
4... And my absolute favorite was the brisket, I don't have the vocabulary to even begin to describe or explain these, but I would hurt anyone that tried to take them off my plate. Devine? Maybe, or also Satan leading me to hell, I'm pretty sure I would follow him to get my hands on the brisket.
For his sides, I will say I am the one that loves cold slaw with my BBQ and as simple as his seemed to be, it was fantastic. Light, fresh and no clue what his sauce is, but it's perfect. Not sweet, not tangy and really don't see it, but I ended up eating the whole darn cup.
Beans were good, but I am not a bean eater, so can't really say much.
Cheesecake. Heaven. Light, not too cream cheesey. Let me tell you what it wasn't. It wasn't cloyingly sweet, over cooked, dense and crumbly. I can say it is one of the best cheesecake I've had
Thank you chef Tony!
As I am writing this through the eyes of a food coma, Chef Tony is back open for dine in and take out at Heights Catering. I don't know how improvement can be done on perfection, but it happened. This old war horse was having a glum day and I was brought back to life. The food is unmatched. We ordered a plethora of their meats and it was enough to serve maybe four people, but serves one if I'm eatin' it.
From the mildly sweet creamy tasting corn bread, to the delicious chili beans and the mouth watering ribs that were literally falling off the bone; I went into an eating frenzy. The Tri Tip was full of flavor. The pulled pork and chicken had a nice tang that had a very refreshing taste. The sauce or marinade used was just absolutely beautiful. The Brisket... what can be said. Nothing can be said that'll do it justice. The cheese cake which is in house made is about as authentic and bona-fide as you can get. Brings a tear to my eye reminiscing about the meal I just had a few minutes ago. Listen, forget everything else. There is nothing else. There's only Chef Tony and Heights Catering that matters. I don't care what's going on in your lives. Go check them out, because it's not something that can be described. It has to be experienced, because it is an experience.
My thanks, compliments and kudos to Josh (hope I got that right) and the rest of the staff that's working hard to help Tony bring this culinary artwork to fruition. Very professional, courteous and just fantastic group of people.
