“Although I came in late (after 9 p.m.) I was greeted as an old friend. I ordered the Taco combination, which came with two tacos of my choice. The options were soft or hard tacos with a variety of traditional fish and meats. I ordered lengua and cameron (tongue and shrimp) which came with rice and beans. The Serve Yourself condiment bar included salsa verde, rojo, pico de gallo, and a not quite too spicy habanero, along with other expected toppings such as cilantro and onions and lime wedges. This dish was priced at a very modest $8.99, and I noticed the rest of the menu was equally reasonable, especially when you consider the quality of the meal, as well as the simple joy with which it was prepared and served. Refreshing to have this level of service when most restaurants would turn you away if you came in 20 minutes before closing. I happily returned the compliment by finishing my meal within 10 minutes and clearing out so they could close on time. I understand they have three more locations...I cannot wait to see if the others measure up to this one. My recommendation? Get your behind over here ASAP and enjoy some serious comida Mexicano!
