  The "walk" from town to the gates is in fact a 1.5 hike up hill but once you get to the gates is an amazing walk with a view that makes it worth the hike. So much information on the area is present in such an amazing way. highly recomend this to anyone!

  Worth the to just to walk thru this. So many unusual and beautiful plants just loved it

  An interesting piece of property on Catalina Island. Catalina Island is rich with the Wrigley family history. The Wrigley Memorial and the Botanical Gardens did not disappoint.

  Very informative about the plants on the island and the island itself! Read the information first and as you walk inside the garden you'll notice the plants really are different from the mainland! Its really interesting to see all these differences and know the history of Catalina and how unique the island is. The sculptures and tiles in catalina are created from sand and stones mined from Catalinas own quarry, I had no idea but its beautiful and I appreciate how special that is. From the top of the memorial you have a view all the way out to the ocean, its a special place, I'm glad I made a visit. The memorial is very beautiful in detail and its carvings, everything precise, I couldn't stop admiring.

  This is a decent bit of a ways from town, but completely worth it if you have the chance to go. You can take the shuttle if you cannot make the walk. There is so much to learn about the local plants, and the memorial is quite beautiful. If you get the chance, there is also a great hike up to the summit that overlooks the hill that is accessible from the gardens. The view is incredible.
