Bird Park

Interesting place. I think it was closed when we got there, but it was still fun to walk around.

We visited Catalina Island on our cruise. On Catalina Island there is an old Aviary which was unfortunately closed back in 1966. However the buildings still exists adjacent to the golf course. We were surprised to find that the aviary had been converted into a day care for children. It should definitely be turned back into an Aviary the architecture is very interesting.

Interesting remnants of the old Catalina Bird Park. It is now closed but the buildings and aviary flight cage are still there. The old tile work is cool. Looks like a daycare playground has taken up residence inside the aviary.
