This was the best experience on the island as regards dining. It was Christmas Eve and we were lucky to not have to wait although it was full of people. Our server was Johnny and he was so great! The wait time was not long till our food came. We ordered the Buffalo Milk (yummy) and a pomegranate martini. The meal was so delicious and fresh, we got Scallops Avalon Style and Fresh Swordfish, so so good . They also offered bread and butter for additional $5, we did not get it though. It seems like they don’t take reservations, it’s first come first serve. 5 stars for sure!
First time here and first time on the island. We opted for seating on the beach and oh boy, was it worth it. Ordered the sea bass. Came with capers and sweet potato fries. Yum! Washed it down with a couple of Lava Flows. All of the drinks sounded so amazing but I'm not much of a drinker so 2 did it for me. Will definitely be back!
Great place, great view! Being vegan it's often hard to find good food with a dedicated menu, but they had a decent selection of options and nice stout drinks. This helped recover a day when my best friend Geronimo was clubbed by a baby seal and a swarm of gold fish drug him into the deep ocean and left him to swim with the fishes. Catalina is a magical place.
This place was recommended to use by our taxi driver. We wanted some fresh seafood and we got it! Food was delicious. Something on the menu for everyone. We got the pasta special, fish, fish and chips and the vegan cauliflower steak. Some even shot oysters! It was all delicious. Although, the pasta was the best. It had amazing flavor!! Our server Adam was awesome. His service impeccable. He is 3rd generation from island. He was super knowledgeable about the food and the area. He was fun joking with the kids. The views are good. We didn’t have a window seat but could see the ocean somewhat. All the staff were nice. The place was clean and well decorated. We will definitely be back on our next visit to the island!
First let's get this out of the way, there is no longer any "fine dining" on the island, no white linen and candles. This is about as close as you can get to a special occasion dinner house. It was our anniversary and they were nice enough to give us a table by the window with a nice view of the harbor. (It's upstairs) My husband was very pleased with his steak, cooked perfectly. I ordered sea bass with a lemon, caper, butter sauce that was excellent. I ordered the same dish at a different restaurant the night before and it was awful. So I know how good this one was. Excellent service by Johnny and good cocktails. We will be back.
