Ed's Auto Electric

PERMANENTLY CLOSED due to Ed's passing. Ed and his son have been very proficient and professional. I was referred to them by another mechanic in Long Beach. I initially took a 2006 PT Cruiser that needed a new PCM (computer brain) among several other issues, and Ed's Auto Electric were amazing at diagnosing that twice I was sold a defective part from an online store. Finally, they ordered a part for me for almost the same price! They fixed all that was wrong with the car and were extremely fair in the total charges, the car runs great, I'm so glad that I was referred to them.
They both posses extensive knowledge about anything related to the mechanics of vehicles of just about any make and is not limited to electrical mechanics. Their pricing is both fair & competitive to other pop-shops and in my experience I've gotten a lot more for my money at Ed's than I have at other comparable places.
These guys know what they're doing - I highly recommend Ed's Auto Electric. If they don't do it, they'll recommend someone competent that does. To ensure timely service, I suggest that you call ahead to get a window of time that is best for both of you. There is VERY limited space in the lot so when you call, you may want to ask where to park when you get there.

Love this place! They are respectful, and courteous. Their main concern is getting you back on the road as quick as possible with every option depending on your budget. Towed my car in and was done before they left and he even stayed longer than closing to make sure i was good to go!
