We got off the train to rent a car. Very convenient. Car rental office is right across the street.

Good and nice Station, but MetroLink train schedule is not frequent enough. Amtrak is too expensive to 20min ride.

The signage here for train direction isn't as clear as it could be. It would be helpful if they added signs for northbound and southbound. Track 2 for southbound to Union Station or San Diego, etc. Track 1 for all points northbound (toward Van Nuys, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, etc.) Track 1 is the same side as the ticket machine and the parking lot. Note: the parking lot is small and cramped and can get tricky to turn around in. You access it from Empire.

This is a pretty basic train platform. There are no services or refreshments here. Best to arrive about 20 minutes before departure unless you want to get really board.
