The Malibu Retreat

Myself and a group of 6 friends stayed at The Malibu Retreat for a film production shoot- and it was perfect in every way. The location and view is breath taking. The hosts are beyond friendly and made us feel at home instantly. If you are looking for seclusion and relaxation- this is the place! I'll be back for sure.

I love it here!! This is my second time staying at The Malibu Retreat and I couldn’t wait to come back it is truly a special place. I love waking up in the morning and enjoying coffee by the pool while I plan a day of hiking nearby trails, swimming in the pool and soaking up the sun. The views from the property are amazing and the energy here is peaceful and restorative with sounds of wind chimes & palm trees swaying in the breeze. There’s plenty of room here to relax with friends or enjoy some quiet time to yourself. At night I like to unwind in the jacuzzi and enjoy the beautiful sunset view. Michelle is a great host and very accommodating. She had some great recommendations for local hiking trails & restaurants. I had the best sleep ever my bed was so comfy with plenty of cozy pillows and blankets. I will definitely be back!!!

Five of us stayed at the Guest House here for a long weekend and enjoyed our stay immensely! The accommodations were excellent with the pool/jacuzzi area in particular being a highlight. The team was incredibly responsive both leading up to and during the stay. The location was great as well, being tucked away peacefully up in the hills but still conveniently close to town and points of interest. I'd highly recommend the Retreat and would stay again in a heartbeat next time I'm in the area!

AMAZING property! We rented the whole place which was a HUGE. There’s the big house plus a guest house. It was like having our own private resort. There were so many places for us to gather & eat together, but also spots to have alone time. The beds & linens were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. (I think I’m spoiled now). Wifi was súper fast. beautiful views & sunsets. Yoga deck was cool. It’s such a quiet & peaceful place, we just heard birds & wind-chimes singing to us. We loved the unique colorful character & design decor of the house. Hosts were super! We went on hikes & went to the Saddle Peak lodge one night for dinner which was right across the street. I can’t believe a place like this is so close to LA.

Came here for our team retreat (9 of us) and it was the perfect location. Michele was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire process and our team loved all the flare that came with the property. The outdoor space was amazing and the views were spectacular, we spent most of our time enjoying the nature, lounging by the pool and dipping into the hot tub. Some of our team members were even able to go hiking on the local trails and we even spent a day at the beach not too far away.

We will definitely come back and keep in contact with Michelle for any retreats in the near future.
