A wonderful city.
Looked well kept although I was there for another reason. I would be happy to go there to conduct business, if I had to.
Cerritos has a Wonderful library! It's almost a nature museum for the kids.
An architectural and landscaped work of art! This Maurice Fleishman (architect) inspired design has encouraged other cities around the country to emulate the innovation with their own complexes.
The library was the world’s first building to have an exterior of titanium plating. Unfortunate that the library interior with it’s theme rooms, including the Children’s Room and the Old Room, aren’t open to the public, pending Covid restrictions.
The Cerritos City Hall services are available inside, though access to City Counsel chambers may be limited, due to Covid Restrictions. Here restrooms may be available, in addition to the adjoining Sheriff Station.
Parking is free and is located off of 183rd street, behind the Sheriff Station.
Art aficionados may also appreciate seeing the Cerritos Sculpture Garden, located just west of the Sheriff Station, within steps of the parking area.
After the interior access restrictions are lifted, I’ll update this review.
