I had an exceptional experience at the Refinery Salon, thanks to my amazing hair stylist, Hailey Rehfeld. Her dedication to ensuring my comfort and providing valuable tips sets her apart. The salon's chic decor, highlighted by moody lighting and a cozy aesthetic, adds a touch of luxury to the overall experience. Highly recommend, especially if you're lucky enough to have Hailey as your stylist :)

I actually went for a facial with Jessica (I won a gift certificate). She was wonderful. The environment was peaceful and clean. I felt comfortable and relaxed. I didn't feel pressure to buy products or book another appointment. I will take her recommendation of every 6-8 weeks and will book with her again. I asked about a facial recommendation on someone who is on acne medication, and she was honest in her response. I felt she was sincere in caring about her clients' skin care and not about the money. 10/10!

I had been bleaching my own hair at home & wanted a more natural look. Ali Seth is the best!!! She corrected my color & made it look perfectly natural. She really took the time & care to go an amazing job. Both her & her assistant were super sweet too. Will definitely be going back ♥️

The short version:
Stop reading and just go book with Erica already.

The long version:
I went in about six weeks ago as a brunette (my natural color, undyed/bleached) and came out with the most gorgeous shade of dirty blonde I could hope for. I asked for something that would blend well with my natural color and be low-maintenance. I showed Erica a few inspo pics and we talked about what was realistic, what was healthy for my hair, and what my hair goals were. (Keep in mind this was the first time I dyed my hair so I had no idea what I was really doing, she walked me through everything step by step). I'd been to her for cuts before but never for color as I knew it could be a lot of upkeep.

Six weeks later, my hair has clearly started to grow out, but the new growth has blended beautifully with the color. I still get compliments on it as if I had just gotten it done. The appointment itself was several hours which makes perfect sense considering all the work that needed to be done and how long and thick my hair is (lower back pre-haircut). In addition to going blonde, I also got lots of layers, curtain bangs, a blow dry, and heat styling. I have never walked out of a salon feeling like my hair was THAT perfect. Obviously with any type of bleaching/color treatment your hair is going to feel a little different, but six weeks later my hair still feels healthy and strong. Erica really prioritizes the health and integrity of your hair and I love that she's honest about what is realistic and what will damage your hair. On top of that, she's incredibly nice and a pleasure to talk to (which is so important when you're at multi-hour appointments).

The reason I say book now is because she fills up months in advance- her work is THAT good. Prices can can get a bit high the more services you get done, but in this case I really do believe you get what you pay for. Everyone in the salon is super sweet and friendly, you're offered a fresh drink when you check in, the salon is adorable, and the quality of work is impeccable. My advice: Book early, bring snack, and get ready for the best hair you've ever had!
