“It's a nice church. It's been around for a long time (it used to be a church and elementary school but now the school is gone {although there is a small playground}). It adds a lot to the community and really feels like a big family. Both the pastor and the members are friendly and accepting. They have lots of activities too, to bring the congregation together even more: an annual fall boutique, camping trips, petal pushing (decorating a Rose parade float), etc. The pews are comfortable and the sermons are always on-point. There are also smaller groups within the church that you can join: choir, handbell choir, quartet, women's group, etc. It has enough parking and 2 murals painted by the pastor himself (he's an artist doing the Lord's work). If you are looking for a Protestant place to belong; St John's is the place for you! :)”

“This church has other missions and churches in the United States and other countries, Where the Word of God is being provided along with the daily bread to the needy. Most of our churches have rehab centers to help those with drug or alcohol problems. We also go door by door offering Bible studies at home. We visit hospitals and convalescent centers to bring the Comfort of the Word of God to those in difficult times. In another countries we are allowed to preach at jails, parks, the street and even inside urban buses. All of our programs are free of charge. I know this wonderful church since i was 11 years old. I was in Tijuana, Mexico, when I learned the Word of God, I had the blessing to have this missionaries teaching me with the Holy Scriptures how to follow God and serve Him with all my heart. I Also learn English and Music there. Later I had the great blessing of giving my life to Jesus Christ and to become a missionary together with my brothers, my sisters, my mom and my dad. After some years serving as a missionary in Tijuana, i was sent to Bell Gardens CA, USA. where I assisted with Praise and Worship with the youth in that church. That church of also had a choir which I have the great blessing to direct until today, thanks to God. In 1996 we opened our church in the city of Covina CA, USA. God granted me the opportunity to visit some of our missions in Mexico, Honduras, Dominican Republic and Brazil, where i met humble and hard working missionaries. It was a great blessing to see what they were doing there and have the opportunity to work with them to bring souls to Jesus Christ. Some missionaries of our church in the US and Mexico go to those countries to remain there to do missionary work for the love of Christ. Now i serve in our church in Covina CA, USA and until today my brothers and sisters of the Choir of this wonderful church have had great testimonies of His Presence while we Praise the Name of Jesus with our voices and our hearts. I am grateful to Gd for this Place, Now I'm 43, but happy that I spend all my youth in the Service of the Lord, and i am still serving Him 'till the last day of my life. May God Bless You All!”
