Ok, so I'll start by saying I'm really upset that after living in LA for 3+ years, I didn't find this place sooner.

This was a love affair at first dollop of paint. I've been working with Golden brand acrylics for years and I thought that they were the best, albeit at a cost (super expensive)...Nova blows golden out of the water in MULTIPLE regards. The consistency of their paints are absolutely buttery, and paired with the mediums they offer, a dream to paint with! Their colors are transparent, perfect for glazing and layering, building up depth. The prices are shockingly low (again, coming experience from Golden) and you get such good bang for your buck.

The service at the store was perfect, I had all questions answered and I was even told a tip to save some money on future purchases! They have great deals on bundles and were amazing to work with....I honestly cannot recommend them enough.

Screw Golden, Nova is my new baby now, and it will be yours too once you try it!

Best place for artists acrylic paints on the west coast, probably the U.S. Better than any paint you'll find at any 'art' store. Good prices for top quality paints. Helpful, nice, clean, and always have everything in stock. Highly recommended. Closes at 4:30pm.
