the husband and i caught the dealership he visited for an oil change lying as they suggested him to change his rotors...upon taking it to Yu's Auto for a second opinion, husband's brake pads still have about 40% left of wear on them!!! sticking with Yu's Auto for life for all our vehicle maintenance needs!!!

back in the day, it used to be called Ken Yu Auto Service.
my parents have been going to Yu's Auto Service since i was a child.
so we're talking decades of cars being serviced by Yu's Auto Services, Inc. specifically: Volvos, Ford, Hondas, Infiniti, Mercedes, and Volkswagon throughout the years! (and not including the referrals of friends i send their way: Lexus, Toyota, BMW, etc...)
i have had my fair share of car repairs and maintenance services in various cities, various, shops, various cars, various reasons --
i truly respect Ken for his honesty and the honesty of his son, Kevin and the other gentlemen that work here!
seriously, where does one find trustworthy, diligent car mechanics nowadays who aren't trying to one-up you?
who have a breadth of knowledge on various car make and models and take pride in their work and understand the cars they are working on and have an appreciation for the classics?
if you looking for TRUSTWORTHY, knowledgeable mechanics who listen to your concerns about your car and do not try to upsell services, then Yu's Auto Service is it.
i will take a day off work and drive out from West LA because i will not go anywhere else.
what kind of service(s) have they done on my car with fair pricing and always an explanation of what's going on:
-transmission rebuilt (it was slipping)
-regular oil changes (with synthetic engine oil)
-rotors replaced (when you are braking while at a fast speed and your car shakes, your rotors may be uneven)
-brake pads replaced (that high pitched screeching you hear when braking...might be time for new brake pads)
-rearbrake lights and headlights replaced
-motor mounts replaced
-timing belt replaced
-starter replaced
...just to name a few
sure, they may not have a fancy car service, or offer a replacement car, but they are WORTH IT! HONEST and FAIR!
no more Maintenance at Dealerships (when going in for a power steering hose recall, they replaced the power steering hose and the same night, all of my power steering fluid leaked out of the car AND i still had to drive it home on the Freeway! scary when i could barely turn my steering wheel to change lanes to exit!!! -- smh at you Marina Del Rey Honda).
no more EZLube (who stripped my oil pan nut bolt and charged me $500 for a new oil pan and now they have an Autobody shop next door -- National Blvd one in Palms ~ like 10 yrs ago?)

i know you are an Auto Shop with a focus on European cars, but i have peace of mind when i drive off your lot after my car has been serviced!
Reliable family owned and operated mechanic shop. I've been coming here for over 10 years, but some customers have been loyal for several decades. They work on air, drive train, suspension and minor electrical. Great and reliable service. I've caught dealers lying to me several times after getting a second opinion here.
