Pause South Bay

Dropped in for a float. Staff were friendly, the room was clean. It was very quiet, which was nice. The downside for me is that the water felt uncomfortably warm so I started sweating from my face, and it got hard to relax. I opened the top of the pod to let fresh air in, and that helped but the water still felt too warm. The water is set at standard average body temp so I think how comfortable you feel in the float might vary depending on the individual. Overall a cool experience. In an ideal float experience, it would be easy to adjust temp but it’s hard to do because of the amount of water in there. If you know you like floats, this place is a safe bet.

The best cryo spot in South bay!! Parking is easy. They have great hours. I love that they open at 9am. I'm always in and out, usually no wait! Staff is so friendly and helpful

Super dig the vibe at this location. Check in was quick, they gave us water, and we jumped into their provided garments and straight into our cryo session. It was our first time and we loved it. Funny how my beard was frozen. We then used their sauna room which was super clean and such a chill vibe. Definitely worth checking out.

Relaxing.

I’ve done saunas here a few times. They set you up in a room, set the timer on the sauna, and leave you to do your thing. The sauna has bluetooth speakers so you can play whatever you want from your phone. There’s a shower to clean yourself up after with Le Labo toiletries. The rooms I’ve been in also have cold plunges, but I just hang in the sauna. There are a bunch of other services that I haven’t tried, but I’ve had great experiences here and intend to continue visiting.
