Van Ness Preschool

My 2 kids now ages 3 and 4 have been attending this school for over a year now. We love this school and the teachers who work so hard to care for the kids. They serve healthy breakfast lunch and afternoon snacks ( very little processed food - minimal reliance on goldfish crackers). And they've taken extra precautions during covid - the school performs their own covid pcr testing every other week. Teacher give almost daily updates on how the kids did at school. Parking lot can get crowded during drop off and pick up times but I know this is not unusual for preschools

I think this school is great. I don't think that it's fair to say that teachers are not great because they let your kid cry for several hours (?) for a first day. Most of little kids cry during the first week due to separation anxiety in any daycare, although it's different depending on kids. Over all, teachers are very great. I can feel that they care about kids. Also, they offer hot foods for breakfast and lunch. Also, kids get snacks afternoon. It works well for me and for any working moms. I also notice they spend a decent time to teach them English, Korean and Math. ( Spanish once a week for K ). In addition, if you pay extra money for piano lessons, the piano teacher comes to the school for lessons. so, you don't have to drive around. it works for me. Again, i love this great school.
