“A very nice small park with a newer playground, a restroom building, lots of open lawn areas (and picnic tables) and plenty of mature shade trees. The park is also (mostly) enclosed by a wall/fence, which is a nice treat given that most Glendale parks lack fencing. The playground was replaced a few years ago and has plenty of equipment for all ages (though because it has wood chips underneath it certainly is not a universally accessible playground). Street parking only but there is always a spot nearby (they really really need a sidewalk on the park side of the street). The fact it only has a half court basketball court is disappointing. Bathrooms are ok.”

“Petite park located right off San Fernando Rd with two children's play areas as well as Splash Pad during summer. Dog walking grass with baggies for excrement pick up available. Bathrooms need some TLC per usual like most public parks is also upon its visitors to help maintain cleanliness. Parking available in rear. Have Fun 😊”

“This park is pretty cool and clean we saw two birthday parties going on there's no parking lot is the only problem but there's two hour street parking look at the sign before you park for the street sweeper. The restrooms are pretty clean too they always have soap to wash your hands. They have those exercising machines and they just put more benches with shades which is awesome. The playground has all kinds different sections for kids to play. There's four swings two for babies and two for the older crowd. There's big grass sections so you can play soccer football etc etc pretty shaded too.”

“California has tons of amazing parks. Verdugo Park is pretty good with lots of spots to actually barbecue and picnic, and then there is this main area where there's a little stage and lots of picnic tables. I think there is a baseball field that is useful and plenty of open grass areas for families. I think parking can be a little bit of a challenge because the parking lot is somewhat small, but comment off times and there's usually plenty of available. There's also plenty of hiking trails around Verdugo Park.”

“A great place for family fun. Has lots of shaded seating which is great for picnics. Plenty of street parking in case your spot is closer to the street than inside the park.”

“Our Story In an age where large funeral homes offer overpriced, impersonal service, our independent, family-owned mortuary provides what families need most, personally tailored programs that are administered with compassion and neighborly concern. For years we've built our reputation on providing families with sound advice and caring service at times of personal loss. We realize that it is important to many families, and to us, to know that all arrangements, whether a cremation service or traditional funeral service, can be handled locally. Crippen Mortuary was founded in 1928 by William & Ethel Crippen and has been in operation continuously at its present location in La Crescenta, California. In June of 2005 Crippen Mortuary assumed the pre-needs of Eckerman-Heisman Funeral Service of Burbank and moved the pre-needs to the La Crescenta facility, this will provide those pre-arranged policy holders to be assured that their arrangements will be honored without interruption. We also offer the Burbank, North Hollywood, Glendale area the same personal service given by Eckerman-Heisman Funeral Service since 1943. In November 2007 Crippen Mortuary opened an arrangement office in Santa Clarita for the purpose of offering families in the Santa Clarita Valley a choice of mortuary services in their area. As the only independently owned and operated funeral home in the Foothills, we strive to provide the finest, most compassionate care to each and every family we serve. Since 1928, we have proven that it is possible to provide affordable funeral and cremation services without sacrificing quality.”

“Good place for rest. Very green, not too quiet, but if you live in LA county- it really very green place. Good place for your pets. You can spend the time with your family (friends) but this picnic area doesn't have a lot of tables... You should have yours own cover or table and chairs”

“In Memory of more than 200,000 Asian and Dutch women who were removed from their homes in Korea, China, Taiwan, Japan, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, East Timor, and Indonesia, to be coerced into sexual slavery by the Imperial Armed Forces of Japan between 1932 and 1945. And in celebration of proclamation of "Comfort Women Day" by the City of Glendale on July 30, 2012, and of passing of House Resolution 121 by the United States Congress on July 30, 2007, urging the Japanese Government to accept historical responsibility for these crimes. It is our sincere hope that these unconscionable violations of human rights shall never recur.”

“My go-to spot for off leash playtime! Two sides: one for big playful doggos and another side for shy/small pups. The human crowd is most often chill and friendly. I have a super high energy pup and he always finds at least one pup to match him. Love that it is tucked away down a no-outlet street so there isn't a lot of traffic. The two water spickets on either side of the big dog side have always worked and it is easy to fill water bowls. A+ !”

“An Official Hiking Review: This is not one trail, but rather a long series of trails that leads to a few different locations. Very hard though marketed as easy. Would recommend for actually dedicated hikers. We rate these trails hard.”
