(April 27, 2022, 3:22 pm)We moved away and hadn't had the hat in 8 or so years we made the trip back to get our favorites. Chili Cheese fries with Pastrami Omg! You must try it!! Their Chili with the Pastrami ugh! Mouth watering hubby also got his favorite hot dog. People check them out

Sides are all good chili cheese fries are the top choice though. This location has drive through which is convenient. Cash and card accepted . Get some gift cards for your family.

(August 20, 2020, 7:24 am)Delicious huge Pastrami! So much Pastrami fell out of my sandwich that I had enough to make a Pastrami sandwich on rye for the next day! The first The Hat is at the N/W corner of Valley Blvd & Garfield Ave in Alhambra since 1951. I was born at Garfield Hospital just down the street in Monterey Park in 1942, so I have had a few Pastrami's in my life, many of them at the first store! My first house was in Alhambra 1968! I love the yellow peppers to go with my Pastrami! My son & I will split a Pastrami with either the onion rings or chili fries!
