The Renaissance Fair was quite an event. My first experience & I was pleasantly surprised!
From huge Turkey legs, Fish & Chips, BBQ galore, over stuffed Baked Potatoes and deserts, fresh beverages to die for. We enjoyed Lord's & Ladies jousting, dancing & selling beautiful garments, hats from the period. Smiling faces, emersed in their characters coerced us to try the Bow & Arrow challenge. A beautiful day of fun & laughter
I visited this place often in my childhood years and now it looks much better. Plenty of trees for shade, spread out parking, hewer bathrooms and new playgrounds for kids. The Renaissance Pleasure Faire is an awesome adventure for all to attend when there. Just make sure to have patience as the food lines are long.
I have fond memories of coming here as a kid to go fishing for trout and bluegill. All the good times, it was great.
Now, I can't catch a god damn fish because there probably isn't any and the homeless people living in the bushes probably fight with the coyotes at night.
Still a nice park. 10/10 still go.
This is a little slice of nature right between the concrete jungle that is the LA freeways. This is a great place to bring the entire family even to just picnic or take a nice stroll along the man made lake. They stock the lake with fish so people fish here 7 days a week. There is even a rental place where you can rent paddle boats, paddle boards, kayaks and those multi- people bikes like the ones you find at the beaches. They only do rentals on Saturdays and Sundays in the fall and winter. There are trails you can take walks on. It's also a great place to walk your dog. There are geese and ducks, which are crowd favorites. There are plenty of parking and picnic tables for everyone. There is a em entry fee of $12 on the weekends and during the summer months. You can even swim in the lake during the summer!
It's nice out here. Pretty clean. There's bathrooms and water fountains.
There is fish in here. I saw someone catch a bass.
You can bike

Bike the paved trail all the way up to San Gabriel mountains
