Our kids love both of their teachers at Fun Music. Our 8 yr old is learning the flute, which is new for her, but additionally has been working with Ms. Shiela for over a year on the piano and we are so amazed by the progress.
Our son works with Ryan and he is also such a great teacher specifically because he adapts to meet the child’s style and needs in pursuit of teaching children music. For our son, Ryan has been teaching him piano but he sometimes struggles with focus so Ryan has had him compose and write music and this has been such a great way to engage him and get him to work with music differently. Our son was able to play his original composition at the Valentines recital this month! Overall, we are very happy with Fun Music’s program.
My son has been taking lessons with Fun Music School for about 2 months now and I'm extremely pleased. He's not only learning, he's really enjoying it! I thought it was going to be a battle with him to sit down one- on-one with a music teacher, but he looks forward to it. The teacher, Michelle, gives him lessons to work on 3 times a week, and he's been motivated to do it consistently. I've noticed a steady improvement in his playing and am very proud. Lastly, Fun Music School's teachers are willing to travel to your home for the lessons for only a minimal additional charge, which makes it super convenient, and in my case, the only way it would've been possible.
I really enjoyed my experience here. What I'm really found of was the home that this music studio is located in. It's decorated with vintage paintings, it's warm and inviting, and has a lovable dog roaming around to cheer everyone up.
Just started guitar. Sarah has helped me get started. I’ll get back to you after my opening at Carnegie Hall.
Max is a very patient teacher and if a student isn't understanding a concept he switches gears to try a different way of explaining a topic, which is great. He also does a wonderful job of making piano fun and is very encouraging.
