The APA holds their practices here. They have been for years. A great way to make themselves a part of the community.
My family and I joined St. John's this year. It is a great church community, with a life-giving emphasis on the children and youth of the church. The people are friendly and welcoming, and our son felt welcomed and affirmed enough to ask for baptism.
St. John's has the best church family a girl could ask for! They've helped mold me in to the woman I am today. And are now helping mold my children in to amazing young men. I've attended St. John's for the past 23 years.
Amazing community. When my Mom was in a coma this congregation banded together and not only provided prayers but real support. They made us meals, mowed our lawn and helped my siblings and I get to and from school. I cannot say enough about this church and community.
St. Johns is home to a great community of people supporting each other. My family and I have attended for about a decade now. In the Episcopal Church you will find an interesting mix of tradition and progressive values.
St. Johns has a particularly strong focus on young children. There is a much larger proportion of school age children than most churches, and a very active youth group.
St. John's Adult Forum. Our next adult book study begins March 10 with a Lenten reading and discussion of "Short Stories by Jesus, The Enigmatic Parables of a Controversial Rabbi" St John's Episcopal Church 210 N. Cayuga Street Ithaca, NY 14850 607 273-6532 office@stjohnsithaca.org.
