The best of the best. I have spent years trying to find an adult Endo equivalent, and even though I've found a very good one, I've learned to accept that I'm never going to find one like Dr Brakin. The quality of care you receive is irreplaceable and one of a kind it's just that simple. I'm so fortunate to have had him as my peds endo.
My son was diagnosed at the age of 2 with type 1 diabetes.
We met Dr. Brakin at Miller Children Hospital in Long Beach.
We love Dr. Brakin and his fabulous staff. Everyone in his clinic gets an A+ in my book! They truly care about you as a person. Dr. Brakin is known for taking a lot of time with his patients therefore does run behind schedule but he is worth it. After 19 years, with what I consider to be the best doctor, we must find a new Endocrinologist now that my son is 21.
