I went in for my yearly exam, thinking my glasses prescription must have changed a lot in a year, as it was becoming so hard to see. Found out it was fast growing cataracts. Scheduled surgery for both eyes. Dr H. ad vised me as to benefits of all the various lenses, I took his advice. Each surgery went very well, easy really. Dr Herzog was reassuring, professional and his usual charming self. But after surgery! I was so surprised at how well I could see without glasses. The colors of our world were back and so beautiful! I had gotten used to less light in my world, thinking life was getting darker and grayer as a result of aging. The change was startling and I am so grateful! I laughingly, told Dr Herzog that I no longer need antidepressants!!

When you go see your ophthalmologist twice a year consecutively for the last 10+ years, I am truly grateful to have such a caring doctor, as well as his wonderful team, helping me through the recent cataract surgery for both of my eyes.
