El Mercadito

Great food, great people. Service is always given in a humble and helpful manner. Family friendly. Lots of things to look at.

One of my favorite places, El Mercadito is a true treasure. A marvelous assortment of items ranging from clothing, health & beauty, accessories, cookware, candies, meat, and some of the most delicious Mexican food this side of Tijuana. The vibe here is always upbeat and nostalgic. Always an experience that elicits heritage and pride in community.

It was good I liked it. Some of the vendors spoke English and some spoke Spanish. It was great to go on a weekday not too crowded. Upstairs not all the spaces were open probably on the weekend and my friend tells me on the weekend they also have Mariachis. I enjoyed some of the fruit, the fruit drinks. I bought a little Loteria game and some of the candies. And there was several places to eat there too. There is handicap parking we also found out after we climb the stairs at there was also an elevator. So the place is handicap accessible.

Was here 3/17/22. The 1st floor has many stores to shop with decent prices. The ATM is $2.50 to get cash out. The 2nd floor is mostly empty of shops but there is lots of outside tent shops. Bring cash if possible. Love the atmosphere

Great place for Made in Mexico items. I have bought several gifts from here. Its gotten cleaner, more organized parking lot.
