Mount Hollywood United Church of Christ

I was raised Evangelical Christian and grew up feeling very close to God and the church. As I got older, my views changed and I felt lonely and distant from God and the church. I searched for the same feeling but could never get it back in the Evangelical churches I tried.
When I started coming to Mt Hollywood, I felt a renewed connection to the Bible, to humanity, and to God. I can't put into words how much Rev. Anne/the Mt Hollywood congregation have helped me feel reconnected to God in a new but familiar way. I have been going through deconstruction and reconstruction with their loving help. Anne even officiated my wedding! I am blessed every time I interact with the Mt Hollywood community. At retreats, at service projects, on Sunday morning, while listening to the choir. I am undone by the love and support of the community.

The pastor always gives insightful and concise sermons (called reflections) which always involves the congregation.
