A little gem hidden around the buzzing area by the Union Station. The horchata was really good and refreshing, had to ask whether it’s homemade just make sure. Prices for the food was about a dollar or two higher than some of the food vendors serving same kind of food around the area. It’s still a good value though since they have a small burritos for five dollars, pretty fulfilling. The lady in the front was nice enough to offer me a seat but this is more of a takeout place. It’s a small corner and it’s a better stop for when you don’t have much time or just in a hurry
I’m gonna tell this is the best little restaurant in the area but I wish this was in all the neighborhoods that I frequent so I can get my lunch or dinner where ever I go ! The Family who runs are also so nice and attentive and really care about their customers! The food is delish and the prices are to die for I recommend this place to everyone ! Small place some seats but I always get my food go thank you

It's not that tourist trap Olvera🚫Street sales. Fresh
So upset with myself for not trying this place sooner. The enchiladas were tasty and very filling. I loved that they used real greens on the side instead of iceberg like most places. You really can’t beat their prices either. I had a bite of my boyfriend’s grilled asada burrito and it was deliciousss. We picked up a couple of juices and they were so fresh and satisfying. We were given an extra juice for the wait which was really kind and generous. We will absolutely return!
I stopped by placita cafe on my way back to Palm Springs. They have tasty Mexican food and a welcoming staff. I dined in and got the carne asada taco plate with rice and beans which was delicious and the green sauce was perfect with the tacos 👌 Beans and rice were good as well. Will definitely come back.
