Pet Express

The customer service is phenomenal! They always work hard to keep things in stock & have all the food that my cat could need. Thanks guys!

Love this place so much! My pit bull puppy has been suffering from all kinds of allergies, so I did some research and decided that we would try Canine Caviar kibble. Pet Express was the only location in LA that carried the brand, and Jesse, who works at Pet Express, was so knowledgeable when helping me decide which protein, toppers, and treats to try. He gladly answered about 100 of my questions, which was so reassuring. He also recommended several other options to try if the kibble didn’t work out. It’s been about a couple weeks on her new diet and my puppy’s skin has transformed. I could not be more thankful for Jesse and Pet Express! They now have me as a customer for life!

My favorite pet supply store. The staff is so helpful and I love the resident cat. They helped me pick the perfect food for my dog. They have a nice selection of high nutrition pet food.

I've been going here for over 15 years it's the only place I buy my cat food. They have a lot of raw selections which is only feed my cats. Staff are usually super knowledgeable about the products.

This review is split between our first impressions (below) and a more substantial review after we started coming more consistently. I am keeping both for posterity.

Jesse is a super informative, knowledgeable, and friendly guy. He walked us through his recommendations for the best food for our kittens and answered every one of our questions.

But don't take it from me or him: take it from the store cat, Hunter. Hunter is an absolute unit. Not fat or a chonker, but proportionally large. This cat eats the best food and is a small mountain lion.

New Edit: I wanted to add some more since we've started coming here consistently. Jesse (and Riley) have always been super nice and friendly, even when we show up 10-15 minutes from closing (but please don't take advantage of their friendliness!) Jesse provides consistently great advice and shows his breadth of knowledge for all of his products. Another great fact: His prices can compete or outright dominate places like Chewy. He also carries a lot of extra stuff too, making Pet Express our one-stop shop for all of our pets needs (food, litter, etc,)

We managed to chat with Mevi (one of the owners) very quickly, he was super friendly and knowledgeable as well. I think he runs an amazing store and employs amazing people.
