(February 26, 2016, 3:34 pm)Jeremy and Mark are the nicest owners. The chicken, the greens, the mac&cheese, the rice&beans, everything is crazy good. They keep their menu simple so they can maximize the quality of these dishes. These are good people making good food. Good for your soul, y'all!
(January 19, 2016, 2:43 am)So this is a soul food spot in DTLA...not a hotel. CLA is awesome for their wings and their crazy hot sauce. Get the sauce on everything! You wont regret it! Sauce FTW
(December 21, 2015, 11:03 pm)Went on a Friday night around 2:40 am and the place was still poppin! Everyone working there was so friendly and kind and they had a dj set up in the back where you sit down to eat. The owner was even out there dancing. Better atmosphere than most clubs!
The food was good. We had the wings and they were SO good! Also the greens, yams and Mac and cheese were petty good, not amazing. This place doesn't disappoint, especially with a dj Friday, Saturday and Sunday night.
We are definitely coming back for their Sunday brunch!
