Lovely hike, not too strenuous but has enough of a challenge (that sweet spot in the middle)
One of my favorite LA places. Run, walk, roll... Great path.
This is the same reservoir design as the one that Mullhulland developed and which failed (killing hundreds of people) in Ventura County. That is why it's only partially filled with water.
Peaceful and beautiful place for a hike. The drive up to the reservoir is quite narrow and not for the faint of heart. I’d recommend taking a smaller car. Parking can be hard during peak hours.
Getting up here is a maze but it's worth a visit kind of gives you that feeling that you're in Blake Crouches Wayward Pines when walking around here. Also a very good view of the Hollywood sign!
a very beautiful place! great nature. many birds and animals! fresh air! perfect for walking! I highly recommend visiting with friends or family! also this place allows you to be, to be alone with nature, to listen to birdsong. it is great for restoring health and psychological well-being! very atmospheric! I advise all tourists or just nature lovers! there is a path around the lake for jogging, walking and cycling! recommend!)))
