We recently stayed at The Garland and had a dinner, a breakfast, and a late night happy hour at The Front Yard. We are glad we did! The food was amazing! The service was good, the staff was very friendly. For dinner, we shared the blue crab stuffed branzino. It takes awhile to cook, so do not order it if you’re in a hurry. However. Soooo worth the wait. Breakfast was avocado toast piled high with smashed avocados topped with veggies. Finally, our Kate night happy hour had us noshing on deviled eggs and crispy Brussels sprouts. The prices are high, I mean, it’s a boutique hotel restaurant in NoHo. I’ve got no regrets and will happily return.
The atmosphere in the outdoor patio was amazing. There are umbrellas strategically placed so no one had to sit in the sun. The food is delicious and of good quality. The service was efficient and friendly.
Hands down, this is my favorite brunch spot in LA. For price, quality of food, ambiance and service are all 5 star. My favorite thing for brunch is the hot chicken and biscuits, but you really can’t go wrong with any of the selections. My friend got the steak and eggs, and it was delish! They used to do bottomless mimosas and now they do pitchers, but it’s honestly still a good deal. Mostly because it’s more of a mimosa cocktail rather than just champagne and OJ. All the sweet treats are amazing too on the brunch menu. We got all 3! So so good!
I've been here so many times but mostly for brunch. Their brunches are my favorite, I love their deals on prosecco and the delicious lunch menu they have. But the dinner was just as amazing! Tomahawk was enough for 3 and tasted delicious. Also, not picture here was the basil aioli cauliflower which was too good to miss! Always great service too and friendly staff. Just don't get there too late for dinner or they'll rush you to order. Always love going to the Front Yard!
The atmosphere is outstanding and the outdoor seating is cosy. Reservation is hard to come by so reserve early if you have a large party. The outdoor long table would be great for a special occasion or any occasion.
The scallop is perfectly done. It melts in your mouth and is perfectly charred. However, it did not go with the vegetable underneath it as it didn't have the acidity to cut through the buttery after taste. The kale in the salad is tough and compares poorly to other kale salads I've had. Deviled eggs were delightful.
I suggest trying the strawberry fields cocktail. It is heavenly refreshing.
