  Love... this place! I've been going here for 30+ years.. ever since my dad would take me here after going to the beach ⛱️! Today would have been his 70th Birthday, and I had to come back to honor his memory and eat some delicious food. Thank you "The Shack"!!! BEST burgers in Playa del Rey!

  Great bartender, great smoking patio with heaters, good on-tap selection… knocking off a star for broken digital jukebox that will let you pour money in but won’t play your song.

  Neighborhood dive bar with reasonably priced food & drinks. Some evenings they have karaoke & live musicians. The parking lot is now the outdoor seating area but there's a pay for parking lot across the street.
  
  5/5 Shack Burger is a must try if you're visiting. It's always delicious and juicy.

  Had the Shack Cheeseburger that came topped with a Louisiana style sausage link. It was incredible, very juicy and tasty. Also had the funnel fries that were absolutely killer. Service was very tentative and friendly. Definitely recommend this place right before or after a flight. 12 minutes away from LAX. Have your vaccination card ready otherwise you have to sit outside.
