    Actually, this is a decent place. Their burgers are pretty crazy and the food is made on the spot. It might not be the best place if you're in a hurry. The decorations are firefighter-themed which is cool. I had a burger with a beyond burger patty. I didn't realize the burger had bacon, so if you do order anything with a beyond patty, you may want to check on what else is on your burger.

    Great Ahi Tuna salad. And homemade French fries to are done to perfection! Great environment with sport channels on...not too loud to overwhelm your conversation. Nice unexpected detour.

    If you're looking for a decent burger joint at the airport, Engine Co 28 is a good choice. Nothing spectacular, but with limited options during a layover, you could do worse. My avocado burger was cooked pretty well and was tasty, and the accompanying fries were crispy The mojito I ordered was pretty good too! I would go back for a quick, filling meal if I'm ever at LAX again.

    Corn chowder was good! I eat cheap, and especially at the pricey airport restaurants, but it was worth it.

    Quick service and we got our checks in time to mozzie to the gate.

    Service was on point. Ordered the Cali Benny. Avocado & smoked salmon Benedict. Really good. Would have liked my English muffin toasted though.
