Rio Grande Fine Mexican Food

Rio Grande Mexican food is a great authentic Mexican restaurant, with food made with care. The menu online is not accurate and when I visited they let me know that they have not updated it in a while. The photos on Google maps are accurate and the options are very simple. They do have vegetarian options. The tostada was surprisingly filling and the enchiladas are coated in light sauce, not as much as I expected. Also the cheese they use here is traditional queso, so not the American version that melts. Last thing to note is that they do take credit cards now but will charge a small fee, so cash is better!

Cute little neighborhood place in Reseda. Would definitely visit again, probably trying the tortas next time :)

Pros:
- lots of protein options as well as vegetarian, easy to read menu
- for the most part easy parking, small lot but street plenty aplenty
- flavorable meals - we got the al pastor and carnitas burrito, both were good, a little spicy/salty but it's based on personal preference
- chips and salsa were DELICIOUS and fresh
- not the cheapest as our burritos were around $12 but it is super filling, I saved a portion for lunch and was still full for dinner

Cons:

Its hard to find a good Mexicano Restaurant. Rio Grande is thee one. Straight out righteous Mexican food. I just wished they delivered.

Totally forgot this little hole in the wall was here, since it is somewhat hidden in the corner of the shopping center. Food is just as good as the first time I was here in 2009. Food is authentic and has great taste! **CASH ONLY** If you are in the mood for a cold brew, they also have cold beer!
