The beacon house let me in with open arms all I had to be is willing to go any lengths over victory over alcohol. They taught me the tools for recovery with solid teachers, group countries, the groups open the door of what I needed to work. They gave me a spiritual tool kit which I took the action and got amazing results. I've been 3 years sober and still applying what I was taught and the house and now living my life on life's terms.
The thing is...even after you bolt, you still find yourself doing the things you learned at the Beacon House, including picking up other peoples garbage on the beach. It keeps you grounded and teaches you humility which is just one of the lessons you will learn there. I had come to the Beacon House in a state of desperation, my mind racing out of control like the undead, but as soon as I got a moment of clarity, I bolted and kept trying to do things my own way. It's definitely insanity but thank God They cut me off from the world long enough to peel back all my layers before I had left, and thank God I learned enough tools to stay sober. The Beacon House is powerful even for those who bolt. And for those of you still on the fence, and want to surf, do yoga, and hang by the pool, there's a place in Malibu that only charges about 85,000 (just for a month) minus the recovery of course.
All around good place if you want to be around good energy and recovery oriented people. I cant tell you how it is today but back in 2015 it was the most amazing FREE rehab ID ever been too. They took us on trips into the montains, to the beach, had cookouts for us, the whole 9! Hopefully its still going strong. 5/5
Didn’t think there were places that existed like the beacon house. Words cannot give justice to what the beacon house provides. Thank God for the Beacon House!
