The most you can expect from a jail
I'll have to admit that i enjoyed my stay. The people here were very nice and i thoroughly enjoyed the food. I never knew that nutriloaf tasted so good. My room was bright and warm. The common areas were clean and the hospitality shown to me was stellar. I highly recommend this place if your ever on vacation. I would rate this 6 stars if i could.
They saved my life! I never realized that I was suicidal before. I've always been generally in good spirits, never once considered harming myself, always had a "thing" for living, avoiding anything that would jeopardize my "living" status or cause certain death. But thankfully the compassionate staff was able to see what denial I was in and how close I was to pulling the plug on my own life. I would have never believed them, until they housed me in a solitary cell with no clothes or socks or shoes, constant cold air pumping straight on me, no sheets or pillows, lights turned on 24 hours a day, no access to books or writing material, let alone a phone, no rec time or human interaction of any sort, and three cold PB&J meals a day for a week straight. They didn't even allow me out for my own arraignment, because they needed more time to watch me. By the time they opened my cell for the first time, I realized that I actually WAS suicidal. Thank goodness they were able to protect me from myself. I later read online what a high success rate they had in preventing suicidal inmates (like me) from offing themselves. Good thing they saved my life! Way to go Lynwood staff, you're the best!
I can't wait to go back there again next week!
