There are a million dentists out there - choose a great one!
I had been dreading going to the dentist for a while - it's never been a great experience, punctuated with a couple terrible ones. I got an evaluation from one of the dentists covered by my plan, and it was mostly as I expected. The office was packed, I had to wait too long, and the dentist never even introduced himself. He just poked around in my mouth and came up with a bill. Not only did I not trust him, I didn't like him at all, which made me less than eager to give him a bunch of money. I decided to wait and look for a different dentist - one that I wanted to support with my business. I'm glad I did.
The next dentist I visited was Dr Doudian, and from the first session I knew that I had made a good decision. Dr Doudian is professional and respectful. She treated me like a person she wants to do business with; I never got my usual feeling of a cow in line at the slaughterhouse. She explained everything to me. She gave me choices. She assured my comfort. She gave me breaks when I needed them. She was flexible when I had to reschedule my appointment outside her regular hours. She has expert training in the latest in dentistry, and she's very good at what she does. I felt safe with her. Overall, she was truly a pleasure.
