“What a wonderful experience. More people should know about it.This church is so important to Los Angeles and Wilmington history. It was built in 1883 and is one of the oldest continuous services in the harbor area. The Banning family founded the St. John's Episcopal church in 1882. It was originally built on Canal Street and Avalon. In 1943 the church was moved to its location 1537 Neptune Avenue in Wilmington. There are several beautiful antique stained-glass windows in the church, one in memory of General Phineas Banning. The bell in the cupola is from the SS Cricket. The altarpiece is a fine specimen of Catalina marble. The church is a Historical Cultural Monument # 47. The church is a modest, stave-type church of Colonial architecture.”

“Joaquin and everyone that works for him is absolutely amazing!!! I was so stressed about remodeling my kitchen. I am extremely detail oriented and a little over they top. I had many kitchen designers out to my house. I went to Joaquin's showroom and the quality of his cabinets was spot on. Better than any other quality I looked at. Once I saw the final product of my kitchen cabinets, it was absolutely beautiful and I was blown away. I am in awe every time I look at may kitchen. I had custom inset cabinets made, which is not easy. They did a beautiful job and I could not have asked for anything better! They are reliable, professional and completely trustworthy!! They pay attention to detail and are extremely responsive. Any concern I had was addressed immediately and every phone call and text was answered with no issues. The response was "no problem, we will take care of it." If I could give Joaquin and his company more than five stars, I would!!! They are the absolute best and a true class act! Everyone that has seen my kitchen wants him to hire him. My grandmother ordered a bathroom vanity and my mom will be calling for work as well. My mom also referred Joaquin to her neighbor and they are now having him remodel their kitchen. After seeing my beautiful kitchen, I ordered a builtin desk and hutch. I am so excited! You will not be disappointed in Joaquin and his work. It is top notch! I cannot give enough compliments or enough stars. We love him and his whole crew!!”
