I'm so glad I choose Lord Empanada to cater my event. I had to feed 30 people so I ordered 60 empanadas. Two each of full size was perfect. I made a salad as a side. I purchased: chicken, birria, pizza, spinach, and mushroom. Everyone tasted great! I sampled the spicy asada and that too was yummy. Each flavor came in their own box which made it easy for setup. They boxed the salsa and chimichurri separately. The restaurant was clean. My order was ready on time. The staff was so helpful when I was there ordering and asking questions. I am so pleased with them. Will definitely use them for future catering.
Lord Empanada is like one of those hole in a wall places that you need to know about. I say hole in the wall, because this place is a little hidden and I drove past it. The parking lot was small so you do need to find parking. There was a sign saying you can park across the street as well.
Everyone I talked to was nice. The cashier I spoke with is approachable and fun to talk to. She was able to help me answer all my questions and provide recommendations. She knew her stuff. By the way, I loved the recommendations.
I got the beef (the Empanada that started it all for Lord Empanada), birria (another recommendation), and an apple pie.
The beef and the birria that were recommended were so delicious! The meat was tender, and they didn't skimp on the fillings.
The chimichurri sauces that came with it were so good. I'd definitely buy it the next time I'm there. It tasted like it was infused with garlic and herbs. yum!
The apple pie was ok and not a favorite. I should have gone savory instead of sweet. But my friend did compare it to tasting like a McDonald's apple pie, so it wasn't bad tasting. Just not for me.
Overall, I will definitely come back if I'm in the area. Another one to add to the books. Come check them out! I didn't dine in and did take out. It's still delicious, even when I ate it later.
This place has good empanadas. Parking is difficult and the steak sandwich is pretty good as well. Price is good, fries are good and sandwiches are good. Right off the freeway would recommend if passing by and want something small.
This place is so good!! The service was great the owner Ryan was super helpful and nice he came out and spoke to my mom and I. The empanadas were fire!! My favorites were the pizza and the spicy black bean so good!!! We also had a caprice sandwich and YOU GOTTA TRY IT!!!
For dessert we had the apple pie empanada and Ryan blessed us with a free new York cheesecake and oh my goodness!!!! I was blown away! Over all if you're in the area and want to try something new definitely!!! Check this place out
Been wanting to go try this place out and was finally able to go. It was definitely worth the trip. The empanadas are not that big and I recommend at least 3 per person. Between my wife, son and myself we had 10 empanadas (including the dessert ones) and a sandwich with fries. There are about 8 booths to eat there. The only thing is the parking is limited and I wish they had an A/C instead of a swamp cooler.
