Got an oil change and tire rotation done while I waited. They were less expensive then anyone in the area. I also signed up for AAA services which gave me additional money off. You can't beat their deal
I’ve taken my car to Triple A in Abingdon for routine maintenance and oil changes. More recently, I called Triple A in a panic because of some mechanical issues I experienced. I first spoke with Dave Travis who promptly addressed my concerns and made time for me to drop off the vehicle the same day. While my vehicle was being evaluated Dave stayed in constant contact to let me know what was going on. Dave was able to explain things to me in layman’s terms where in the past other car care businesses and independent mechanics had me completely lost with technical jargon. Since the team at Triple A was not able to replicate the issue I experienced Dave allowed me to bring the vehicle back later the same week over night to see if the cold weather was a contributing factor to the the issue I experienced. When I took the vehicle back to Triple A I had the pleasure of dealing with Andrew Foley who was very professional, empathic, and determined to get to the bottom of the problem. Andrew talked me through possible scenarios and stayed in constant communication with me. Andrew like Dave did a fantastic job of explaining things in layman’s terms. Andrew and Dave both exemplified outstanding customer service by going above and beyond to help me and give me peace of mind. Andrew was very candid about the work my vehicle needed. One of the things it needed was not a service Triple A was able to provide immediately if at all and Andrew’s candidness was much appreciated. In the past I dealt with individuals at other car care businesses who made promises they could not fulfill ultimately leaving me inconvenienced. Both of these individuals were also able to provide me with in-depth industry knowledge that will make my decision to purchase a new vehicle in the future even easier. They both were respectful, insightful, and informative. It was evident that both of these individuals truly care about customer service, integrity, and strengthening the Triple A brand. I’d highly recommend Triple A largely in-part to Dave and Andrew. The only thing I would change at Triple A is promotional financing with a Triple A card (I.e. 6 to 18 months interest free and 5% cash back). In tough times flexibility with payment is much appreciated by consumers. I would go back to Triple A in a heartbeat as long as Dave and Andrew remain at this location.
