I had LASIK done with these folks on Feb 24, 2023. Overall, they have been very communicative, competent, honest. When I first contacted them, they did a free in-person eye exam and consultation to check my measurements, assess my candidacy for the procedure, and answer all of the questions/concerns I had. Dr Melikian was extremely friendly, thorough, and though he himself has had LASIK, he emphasized that it's a personal choice -- I didn't feel pressure from them to go ahead with the procedure. When I finally decided to get the procedure, the scheduling was painless and quick. They told me everything to expect, there were no surprises. Surgery itself was in Huntington Beach, and went very smoothly. My vision was quite good by the next day, and overall I've felt great!

I am so in LOVE with my new vision. No more having to worry about not having my glasses with me at night so I don’t crash into anyone or anything. The staff doctors and everyone was so professional so caring. From start to finish this was one of the best experiences I ever had. It was worth every penny I would’ve paid double. If knew this was gonna be my outcome a long done this years ago. The risks are so minimal it’s incredible the technology they have nowadays the procedure last no longer than 10 minutes and is very comfortable. Thank you all at Global LASIK vision.

I had my lasik surgery a few days ago and everything went smooth. I can see!!! After wearing glasses for 15+ yrs, I woke up the following morning after surgery able to see for the first time in years. Overwhelming 🥹 tears of joy.
The staff and doctors were amazing. Very welcoming and made you feel comfortable. They made it easy to ask questions throughout the whole process. I was also able to communicate with them via text with questions leading up to my surgery day. My overall experience was 10/10.

Every stage along the way I was checked in on, given information to make the proper decisions and even had access to Dr. Arbi when I needed to ask a question about travelling to a place with dust storms.

They are a top notch business and the surgery I received has improved my vision. I'm 3 months healed and my vision frequents 20/15 vision which is better than 20/20.

Highly recommend them.

One improvement I recommend is that their fact sheet include "buy Kleenex boxes" since you'll need a lot after surgery from natural watering post op for 3 days.

I have always had terrible vision (high astigmatism) and I was tired of buying expensive lenses/ contacts every year. Earlier this year, I decided to come to Global LASIK & Cataract Institute for a consultation. The staff was immediately welcoming, friendly, and educational. I really felt at ease and appreciated all the information. I never felt pressured to move forward with anything. The doctors have great “bed side” manners and the procedure was quick and painless. Recovery was not as bad as I expected and now 6 months later my vision is 20/20 (never thought I’d SEE the day, ha!). I regret nothing. Best staff and doctors here. And my follow-up appointments were scheduled to fit my schedule. I would highly recommend Global Lasik and Cataract Institute.
